Hello!

We are Samayakula - located just around the corner from the London Buddhist Centre in Bethnal Green. We are a women’s community of twelve GFR Mitras and Dharmacharinis, aged 28-75 with a broad range of interests including gardening, music, film, period drama, pizza, five rhythms and more. Tulip the cat is also a beloved member of our community - she can often be found dwelling on the nature of impermanence.

We have a couple of short-term vacancies coming up from 13 June to the beginning of October, along with a potential permanent place, and are looking for new people to make us complete.

For us, community is about sharing our lives - meditating together, eating together (we are vegetarian/vegan), and deepening our friendships with each other. Every Tuesday evening we come together for Community Night, where we discuss practical matters, engage in communal practice, and have fun!

We are proud of the supportive conditions we create and hold for each other and look forward to sharing these with our new community members.  We also look forward to benefiting from the unique contributions that they will bring.

If you would like to be a part of our community, please get in touch with us at samayakula [at] gmail.com by Friday 21 May.

Tell us a bit about yourself, your Dharma practice, why you are attracted to community life and whether you are interested in a temporary place, a permanent place or both. We look forward to hearing from you!

Love from Garavavati, Lilamani, Steph, Kirsten, Catrine, Hannah, Akasajoti, Maitreyi, Abhayanandi, Muditasri and Dhammadinna.
