Opportunity to become Women’s Mitra Convenor at the Manchester Buddhist Centre, UK

Here’s a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic, harmonious team at the Manchester Buddhist Centre as Women’s Mitra Convenor.

With a thriving women’s Sangha (of over 100 mitras, and over 50 ordination requests), there is plenty of scope to bring in your own unique vision and ideas to create ever better conditions for the Sangha to grow and flourish in the Dharma.

In this this full time, financially supported role, your context will be a series of teams and groups, including a very supportive women’s Mitra Convening Kula of 5 Dharmacharinis, working  together to deepen our Going for Refuge to the Three Jewels and bring Bhante’s vision alive within this major city.

The Centre itself is situated within the lively “Northern Quarter” close to Manchester’s City Centre in a beautiful converted Victorian warehouse over 5 floors.

If you would like to learn more about the role, have any questions or would like to come to visit us before applying please do get in touch!

Closing date for applications – Saturday 25th February.

Interviews will be held on Monday 13th March.
