We are recruiting to the Operations Team at Dhanakosa, could that be you? 

We are looking for someone who is inspired by the Dhanakosa project and would like to live and work as part of our on-site community team. This is a great opportunity to try community living and team-based right-livelihood, and ideal for someone currently, or considering, training for ordination within Triratna. 

The role is supporting the Office and the Kitchen - you’ll work approximately 2 days/week as part of the Office team covering reception and bookings, 2 days/week supporting the Kitchen Manager with cooking and administration, and 1 day/week on shared team tasks, including weekly cleaning at retreat changeover. Some practical experience with vegan cooking and office/customer service work is needed, and we can support you to develop these skills further. 

You will be living and working in wild and beautiful Scotland, helping provide conditions for 1,000 people a year to meet the Dharma. You'll be joining a mixed gender community of Order Members and GFR Mitras, all deeply committed to Bhante's radical vision of work as practice to transform self and world. The Operations Team is primarily (but not exclusively) a training context for those seeking ordination with Triratna. For Order Members there is also the opportunity to develop retreat leading/teaching skills.
