Posted by candradasa on Wed, 12 Nov, 2014 - 17:57Adhisthana is again playing host to the biannual College of Preceptors’ meeting, with 25 of the 34 active members on-site until 20 November. In case you don’t know, the College is (amongst other things) responsible for all ordinations worldwide into the Triratna Buddhist Order. So they hold a lot of responsibility for the harmonious development of the wider Triratna Community too!

Each evening we’ll be uploading interviews with a range of the Preceptors...

Thank you to all who are participating in these interviews, conversations or whatever (and for Vidyatara for putting them on Buddhist centre on-line.) It’s great hearing what you, as College members, are doing or discussing each day (and today I could hear it extremely well so that was a bonus.)

Posted by vajratara on Thu, 23 Oct, 2014 - 10:31The India Dhamma Trust invite all Dhammacharis and Dhammacharinis worldwide to attend an International Order Retreat on 1 - 8 February 2015 to be held at the Three Jewels Centre at Bodhgaya. Subhuti will lead the retreat with a team from India and the West.

We will be holding the reteat at Bodhgaya so that we can spend each evening at the Buddha’s feet, meditating and doing puja together. We will centre our time as much...

End of the 2014 Triratna International Retreat - Some Highlights

Posted by candradasa on Tue, 27 May, 2014 - 20:13Well, that was a full old 5 days! The International Retreat is now at an end - and we were there in spirit through the rain, mud and eventual glorious sunshine, sampling the evident joy of the event and the delighful experience of sangha that is apparent in all the (many!) photographs we were able to feature.

Our great thanks to Dassini, Ivan, Munisha, Singhamanas, Suvajra, Suvannamani, Vajrashura, Vidyatara, and to anyone else who contributed...

Thanks to the on the ground folks and the webmaster for bringing us all this brilliant info. Loved the talk on Solitude by Paramananda. Great job eveyone working on capturing these talks / events for posterity. I learn by re-listening to talks again and again.
