What is a mandala? Symbolically, it’s a sacred circle that, if you enter and approach its centre, brings you towards Enlightenment or full Awakening. This week, during our latest home retreat, we will be meditating in the mandala, led by Tejananda, an Order member with over 25 years of teaching practice, as we deepen into our experience and learn to simply be.

Tejananda’s approach is rooted in Triratna’s System of Practice - integration, positive emotion, spiritual death, spiritual rebirth and receptivity - which he presents as a mandala of practices, and firmly grounds our engagement with them in the body (or soma). We are delighted that Tejananda is offering seven daily led meditation workshops exploring this material as part of this home retreat. You can reserve a space on any or all of the workshops or just turn up on the day via the home retreat space.

As always, if you are not able to attend these live sessions for whatever reason - don’t worry: we will be recording the sessions and will make them available afterwards on the home retreat space. We’ve also included some resources - short introductions and led meditation - for each day on the home retreat space for you to use at your own leisure, either as a basis for your own home retreat or as further resources.

Tejananda’s approach I found extremely interesting and wonderfully helpful…I highly recommend going on this retreat - Amita

Let the journey into the heart of the mandala begin! 🙏

Perfect timing for this, thank you! I’ve always found Tejananda’s instruction deeply effective, and am grateful to deepen my meditation practice at this time. What a joy to do so in the company of so many others, all aorund the world, in our global sangha! Sadhus!
