A while back we featured rehearsals from Bodhivajra’s new choral piece, ‘Touching the Earth’.

Here’s a full performance of it by Sangha singers from the Norwich, London and Cambridge Buddhist Centres, with Bodhivajra playing piano, at the Sheffield Buddhist Centre on the 26th May 2013.

It was inspired by the Buddha’s enlightenment story, with text derived from the Mahavastu and the Lalitavistara Sutra.

Get more of Bodhivajra’s music here, including his new CD, ‘One Thousand Beams of Light - 11 songs, settings of poems by Ryokan, Sangharakshita, 7th Dalai Lama, and others, plus a song for each of the Five Buddhas.
