This just in from the Buddhafield Team as the Festival gets underway…
Dear friends of BuddhafieldIncidentally, The Met Office weather forecast for the next 30 days: “Southern regions are most likely to see periods of dry and settled weather with above average sunshine and temperatures”. Hurrah. It is going to be a scorcher of a Festival. You can still buy weekend tickets!
We hope you are all gearing up to come to Buddhafield Festival - it looks like its going to be a hotty so bring your sun lotion!*
Two of Buddhafield’s longest-serving and most dedicated champions are leaving this year - Mumukshu, after a staggering 17 years, and Satyajit, after 15 years. Without them, Buddhafield could never have developed to such strengths, they have been amazing. They were both among the first to take the leap of faith to build the Buddhafield project, coming to Devon to live in a bus on Linscomb Farm, working with no pay for some years.
At the Festival we will have a special corner in the Cafe dedicated to Satyajit and Mumukshu. We’d like to present them with a special Buddhafield memory book. If you have any thoughts of appreciation you’d like to express, come and write in their special “books”, or stick any photos if you have them - that would be great!
Buddhafield would like to award Mumukshu and Satyajit some money each to help them find their feet, maybe take some recovery time, and get started on making a living elsewhere. We hope to be able to do this out of ticket sales, but cash is very tight after the mop-up operations of last year’s Festival. If you can help us give back to Mumukshu and Satyajit a little of what they have put into Buddhafield, you can donate directly on:

Many many thanks and see you in the field
