It has been some time since we posted something from Guhyaloka and recently we have been reviving our internet presence.

The new website address is www.guhyaloka.org (not .com although it will pass you on to .org)

The core team at Guhyaloka right now is myself, Vidyasiddhi and Dridhakarin. After more than a year, Dayajina will be leaving us at the end of November to return to Germany. So we are looking for an Order member (or Order members) to come and join us. There are various options. Ideally for us we would like someone to come and join us full time and stay for a couple of years or more. What also works well is people coming...

Today was a delightful day here at Guhyaloka. The community began the day at 9 this morning setting up for the Public Ordinations. Two things needed to happen. One was to make sure we had plenty of food and refreshments to see us through the day. The second was to set up the shrine room. Ahead of schedule the conch was blown and the  Public Ordinations could begin. As Maitreyabandhu said. What better way could we celebrate Buddha Day. Pictures...

Working Retreat - 2015

Thu, 19 Feb, 2015 - 14:47This years work retreat is well underway. The program has been worked on over the years and the current one seems to work very well. We work four mornings followed by a silent practice day and then an unstructured day. The evenings are put aside for study and puja and we have mediations in the mornings before breakfast and in the afternoon before supper.
