We will be ritually opening the launch weekend by cleaning, really deep cleaning the centre. Bring veggie food to share.

Starts at 11 with a dedication, then get out the elbow grease to scrub those corners clean

1pm lunch

2-3:30 more cleaning!

Ends with a closing ritual around 3.30pm, laying down the foundations for a mandala offering that Sinhacandra and Suriyavamsa are creating over the weekend.

The retreat will focus on the 4 Sangrahavastus (means of unification of the sangha) - giving, loving speech, beneficial action and exemplification and is open to anyone who regularly attends classes at a Triratana group or centre in Scotland.

On Sunday August 14 (5.30 - 8.00), Margo, Dassini & team will host an evening where Margo will talk about her experience on a Karuna appeal. There will be opportunity for questions and discussion, and we’ll end the evening in the shrine room.

This evening sits happily within the build up to our Dana Economy launch.

Volunteers needed

Glasgow Buddhist Centre is marching in the Gay Pride Parade on August 20th, as well as setting up a stall to meet and greet on the day. And we would love for you to join us.
