Saying Goodbye to Glasgow Buddhist Centre- in person opportunities for mitras and order members

As many of you know we put the GBC up for sale in September.  We are currently in the process of negotiating a sale, which will possibly close in mid December.

So with that in mind, we have come up with a ritual saying goodbye process that takes into account all the COVID regulations.  This will allow a small group of mitras and order members (10 at a time) to come to the centre, and participate in an hour-long ritual in the shrine room to help us collectively dissolve, as well as widen, our our mandala of practice.

We will be moving into the homeless life as a sangha and this time gives us space to honor what this place has held for us, and to move into what is next together.

The current dates and times we have available are:
Monday 30th November 2 - 3pm
Tuesday 1st December 10:30 - 11:30am
Wednesday 2nd December 4:30 - 5:30pm
Thursday 12 - 1pm
Saturday 2 - 3pm, and 3:30 - 4:30pm

If you would like to attend and participate in one of these ritual sessions, then please email Pasadini at pasadini@glasgowbuddhistcentre.com to confirm your time.  Depending on the numbers we may open up more slots, so don't worry that you won't be able to say goodbye!

Please only sign up for ONE slot please to ensure that everyone who would like to attend is able to. Its one slot per person, so please let us know if you are signing up for more then one person when you email, and who they are.

There will be an online opportunity too for those of you who are not able to travel in person to say goodbye. On Tuesday December 15th GBC's Dharma night will open its doors wide to all who want to share memories and their stories about 329 Sauchiehall St. Keep an eye on the Glasgow Buddhist Centre website for details as they become available .
