In February 2022 on the day that Russian forces invaded Ukraine, Aksobhin was gazing at the 20 foot long bronze statue of a dead human in the picturesque harbour of Valletta, Malta.
Standing at the imposing monument to those who died on the island during World War 2, Aksobin had an inspired response.
“That was the day I decided to stay and work for the Dharma as the only viable answer to the human insanity of war.”
Aksobhin describes how Future Dharma came “to our rescue" with a grant of £3,000 to get them started. Knowing that Future Dharma were there and able to respond to their needs, Akshobin says, "made it all possible”.
Future Dharma wants to be able to respond to exciting new situations like the one in Malta every time that help is needed.
