Our Podcasts this month have been bringing Sangha Into Focus as we approach the time of year when celebrations of Sangha are engaged in around Triratna Buddhist Community.

Saturday’s FBA Podcast, “Creating Sangha and Changing the World” – an inspirational exploration of the Third Jewel by Saddhaloka. He looks at the distinguishing role of Sangha, spiritual community, in the development and life of the Triratna Buddhist Order, and, in fact, in any kind of Buddhist spiritual life. Talk given at Padmaloka Retreat Centre, 2002

And in Monday’s FBA Dharmabyte, Satyaraja beautifully describes the need for “Ksanti in Sangha” in a short excerpt from the talk, “Ksanti-Patience” given on Sangha Night at Stockholms Buddhistcenter, 8 February 2010. Ksanti, translated as ‘patience’ and is especially called for when encountering differing views on living a spiritual life.
