In this week’s FBA Podcast , Kamalashila introduces the fifth perfection: “Dhyana Paramita, the Perfection of Meditation.” Kamalashila is the author of ‘Buddhist Meditation: Tranquillity, Imagination, Insight’, an excellent manual on the practice of Buddhist meditation. Talk given at the West London Buddhist Centre, 2012.

My Practice in Everyday Life

In our first of two Dharmabytes this week Kamaladevi talks about doing the mindful “dance” of self and other in her work at a busy community library.,”My Practice in Everyday Life,” is one of a series of short talks given for the Triratna [FWBO] International Urban Retreat of 2009, where Order Members from around the world speak about their life and practice. Kamaladevi is an Order Member living and working in Auckland, New Zealand.

Befriending One’s Self In Meditation
And in our second FBA Dharmabyte this week Bodhilila shares her practice in: “Befriending One’s Self In Meditation,” a short talk given at the London Buddhist Centre meditation day on July 15th 2012. Bodhilila has worked as a musician, massage therapist, counsellor and teacher. She lives in a women’s community and teaches meditation and Buddhism at the West London Buddhist Centre.
