An interview with Dhardo Tulku Rimpoche, the recognized Tibetan tulku and spiritual successor to Dhardo Rimpoche, one of Sangharakshita’s (founder of the Triratna Buddhist Order) main teachers.

This was the first visit by Dhardo Tulku to the West, and also his first ever formal interview, which took place in 2013 at Aryaloka Buddhist Retreat Center in New Hampshire, USA. We talked about his relationship to his predecessor, to his status as a tulku, and to the Triratna Buddhist Community. We also get to hear about his interest in science and his initial impressions of America, and to hear his thoughts on his own future and on a stupa building project at Aryaloka in honor of the former Dhardo Rimpoche.

A fascinating chance to meet an impressive young man moving between two very different worlds!
