WEEKLY SANGHA NIGHTOn Thu, 5 December, 2013 - 22:16
Sangha night for regulars
This is the class that draws everybody together from all the other classes: please try to come if you can!
Sangha night is 1900 to 2115 every Wednesday at Sholden Village Hall, Sholden New Road, Sholden, Kent CT14 0AF. The evening includes meditation, a talk or discussion on the Dharma, Puja and a cup of tea. Suggested donation £10
3rd. Dharma Cafe: We will be having our monthly shared meal before Sangha Evening next Wednesday at 5.30. If you would like to come along please bring something vegetarian/vegan to share; baked potatoes will be there already. Buddhist Action Month (BAM) will be in June and we need to start preparing. Last year was a great success in giving us a presence in Deal, promoting good causes, creating sangha and having fun. Come along this evening and suggest what difference we can make in our world this year.
10th. Travels with the Blue Buddha of the Eastern Realm. Another evening about Akshobhya, the first Buddha in our 5 year theme of the Five Buddha Mandala.
17th. The fourth evening in our inspiring series on Ethics, focusing on the mind precepts, based on Subhadramati’s inspiring book.
24th. Practice evening with Amarapuspa, from the Croydon Buddhist Centre, and Dayapakshini.
Please email us at ekbuddhists [at] gmail.com if you’d like to join us and haven’t been before.
