Over the past two years, we have embarked on a project to transform recorded talks from the Croydon Buddhist Centre and Aryatara, from audio cassette to digital format. Tha talks range from 1979 to 2005 and include a wide variety of topics and speakers. it was our wish that as many of these talks as possible, could be made available to the public, with permission from the speakers. We have been contacting many of the speakers and so far a great number have kindly given permission for us to upload their talks onto Free Buddhist Audio. We endeavour to make the audio recordings as audible as possible, although, for some this will be near impossible. However, we are starting to upload tracks this week and hope to finish editing others as we go. We would like to thank all the Dharmacharinis and Dharmacharis who have taken the time to contact me with permission and for their support of the project. Also we’d like to thank the members of the sangha who have supported us in converting the files to MP3. As there are many more talks to edit, some of which are poor quality, we would ask that if anyone with experience of sound editing, filtering and digital remastering would like to help in any way, to please contact Carol on info [at] buddhistcentrecroydon.org (subject: Digital%20Archive%20Project)
