Anywhere Anytime

This morning I was sitting in the passenger seat of my mate’s Kombi in Burleigh Heads. I was waiting for him and Gina to come out as he was taking us to the Gold Coast Airport for an early flight back to Sydney. We have had a very enjoyable weekend staying with him and his family and spending a good day with him yesterday at the Byron Bay Bluesfest.

So there I was on a beautiful, still and sunny morning feeling a tad fuzzy after a late night and an early start when it occurred to me that I could be in the now and do a breath meditation until they came out. So I did ………………..

I just sat, closed my eyes and watched my breath come and go for a very few minutes ………. and it was perfect! A small, calm, collecting self time ……

I’d like to offer that experience as a reminder to us all that we can meditate anywhere, anytime …….. every little bit counts and helps us be in our experience of this very precious life ………..
