Setting the SELF free

Buddhist teaching is clear that the best way to live is to keep our sense of who we are soft and pliable

Holding tightly to a notion of a fixed, permanent ‘I’ is problematic ……….

We will be most free and happy when we understand that this apparently solid, enduring entity we think of as ME is actually a very fluid, continually changing process and that this process is nothing to be feared or tightly grasped onto ….

Through meditation we can really enter into this idea of the mind being just a part of this dance of life and by watching our process with kindly awareness we can live our life with increasing awareness, creativity and freedom

Hope you can meditate with us this week:

Thursday     7 – 8.30 pm

Sunday        8 – 8.50 am

NB: It looks as though our Coogee retreat will now be re-scheduled to December 4 – 6. If anyone has set aside time for the weekend of November 6 – 8 can you let me know and I’ll see if we can run a mini-retreat across that weekend also.
