Mostly Doesn’t Happen Overnight
To change one’s mind for the better takes time and effort. But take heart, you don’t need to do lots of meditation to notice a brightening and clarifying of your mental states
Consistency is the key and so here are a few tips to help you establish an effective meditation practice:

We start a new series this Sunday on The Buddha’s Noble 8 Fold Path so this is a very good time to join this group if you are interested in learning more about the Buddha’s teachings. Just email back or talk to me on Thursday night if you are interested. We meet at the Coogee Croquet Club on alternate Sunday mornings.

- keep meditations to a time frame you won’t find overwhelming or hard to maintain
- Find the time of day that suits you best
- Try to meditate with others on a regular basis
- Commit to do it
- Keep your inspiration alive – stay in touch with why you want to meditate, find a really nice place to do it, appreciate the effort you make …..
- Do both metta and mindfulness practices in an alternating roster
