Dear Coogee Meditators
For some time now I’ve been attracted to the notion of congruence. Since starting the Coogee Meditation Group with Padmadakini well over a year ago now, I have been convicted of the importance of having congruence in my life. By that I mean that meditative practice should manifest in both my life and my being.
I want people to have confidence in both me and meditation; actually I feel like I need to be a good ‘sandwich board’ for the product.
Meditation, if practiced consistently and with integrity should make one clearer, kinder and more ethical and so I want to bring these qualities into being within myself.
I believe that it goes beyond the words: we can sense a directness, a calm and a confidence in someone who is really engaging with meditation.
A big call I guess and I set myself up for scrutiny but ….. Bring it on I say ……….
I really do believe this stuff works ….. Profoundly
This weeks ‘Buddha Riff’ after the tea break will continue on the theme of freedom – so core to the Buddha’s teachings
Hope you can join us
Thursday 7 – 8.30 Mindfulness of Breathing
Sunday 8 – 9 Metta and Mindfulness of Breathing
With Kindness
Dharmalata and Padmadakini
