Closing the Home Retreat - Meditating in the MandalaOn Thu, 18 June, 2020 - 12:05
We hope you have enjoyed Meditating in the Mandala with us this week!
Thank you so much to Tejananda for leading daily sessions, exploring a dynamic, embodied, somatic approach to meditation and Awakening. You can find the recordings of the daily Zoom sessions on the Home Retreat page. You can also find the recordings on this Youtube Playlist.
Please give now, so that we can offer home retreats and other resources to more people like you in the future.
Here are some comments from people on the Home Retreat this week:
I really benefit from Tejananda’s teaching; grounded in the earth, and at the same time grounded in the System of Practice, he teaches a very embodied way of meditating. Each stage of practice is absorbed into the following one, like Russian dolls, until one can experience somatically the dissolving of boundaries between self and other.
It was lovely to spend the week meditating with Tejananda and others. I’ve really valued exploring the system of practice in such an experiential way; I’ll definitely be able to use some of the themes that came out of this week in my daily practice.
However you have used the resources this week, we really hope that Meditating in the Mandala and having a sense of community online have benefited your Dharma practice at this time. Please do let us know here how you have found the week, we’d love to hear from you.
We would love it if more and more people could access these home retreats and experience the online Sangha we can create together.
You can help make this happen - give regularly, or a one off gift, to help us to keep bringing the Dharma to more people in their homes at this time.
Of course, we understand that some people are unable to give, especially at this uncertain time. We want to still be able to offer our resources freely and ask those who can to support us to continue this.
Thank you! 🙏🏻
Our next home retreat, “Alive, Aware, Awake” (on Satipatthana - the Foundations of Mindfulness), led by the Taraloka team, will begin on 10th July. Subscribe to our Dharma Toolkit Newsletter and we’ll send out the details nearer the time.
