The Long Voice Of Water

Subhadassi is running a series of online writing workshops. In each session we’ll use creative writing as a way to deepen our awareness and reflection, mining the rich seam that stretches between creative writing and Dharma practice. The four workshops will flow across the four seasons, and help us to mark the turnings of the year. The sessions are for regular meditators but no experience of creative writing is necessary.

There will be a session around each solstice (shortest/longest days of the year) and each equinox (dates when the day and night are equal in length). We’ll start in midwinter 2021, and end around the autumn equinox in 2022. Each session will run from 10:00 am - 12.30 pm, and will work as a ‘stand alone’ session if you are not able to make all four.

Session 1: ‘Water like a stone’

Date: 18.12.21

Session 2: ‘When weeds, in wheels, shoot long and lovely and lush’
