Sarah Boak who you might know from these pages, or from Southampton Sangha where her home is, or through her work for Buddhafield, has compiled this little booklet to make it that much easier to take the plunge and take steps towards consuming less animal-based products. 

And of course if you want to explore veganism as an action for June at your Buddhist centre or Group, one step might be to go to the buddhistcentre online’s Vegan Buddhists and Friends, which has been a little dormant of late, and start a conversation. 

Viva! is still an excellent organization to support steps towards reducing dairy etc and perhaps there is a group at your Centre that wants to give Viva’s 30 day vegan programme a go - perfect for Buddhist Action Month.

Awesome Sarah! Those spicy cookies look amazing! I went vegan for BAM last year and kept it up until about November. Some of my changes stuck though – I only drink almond milk now, for example. Planning on doing it every year until it sticks. xxx
