We’ve a full programme of events happening at Bristol Buddhist centre for this year’s BAM. We’re kicking BAM off by creating an Indra’s Net at our centre; a beautiful symbol of the interconnectedness and interdependency everything in the universe. All of our sangha nights throughout June are themed around BAM, and include talks from Sahajatara from Brighton exploring how reconnecting with our pagan roots can nourish our Dharma practice, and Vajratara from Tiratanaloka, who will be talking about what we can learn from the Buddha’s conversations with Kings, the political leaders of his time.

We’re also having a jumble sale to raise money for a local charity supporting our city’s refugees and asylum seekers, an Incredible Edible work party, an earth connecting meditation followed by a community litter pick on World Environment Day (5th June), and evenings exploring veganism and peace & reconciliation.

We’ll end BAM with a mantra evening to dedicate our efforts and positive actions throughout the month for the benefit of all beings.

You can see the full programme on our website here and we extend a very warm welcome to anyone from other sanghas who’d like to come and join us for any of our BAM events.
