Sunday 19 June @ North London Buddhist Centre - we came together for a day of BAM! activity. Starting the day in the shrine room with the Metta Bhavana, we followed this by listening to a talk by Vajratara from 2015 called Buddhism for the Modern World. Candlelight vigil for victims of Orlando massacre

Many Triratna sangha members attended the Portsmouth, NH candlelight vigil last night honoring the people killed in the Orlando massacre. Mitra Deb Howard, a member of Moms Demand Action (on gun reform laws) spoke at the vigil. Also shown in the photos are Tanya Hakala, Mike Mappes, and Harshal Dofe.

We spent some time on Sangha night on Thursday picking up litter from the streets around our centre. Last week we did an Eart Metta and talked about BAM and volunteers took wildflower seeds donated by Kew along with little homes for bees to spread around Lancashire, we are a wide spread Sangha.
