BUDDHA FESTIVAL 2016 - January 22nd to 26th, 2016

The 6th consecutive Buddha Festival is organised at Dikshabhumi, Nagpur by Nagpur Buddhist Centre, a unit of Triratna Bauddha Mahasangha. All earlier festivals were unique, grand & very successful. It has become the prominent art & culture event of India. We express our deep gratitude for the overwhelming support & response to the last five festivals. So we are encouraged & inspired to promote our great art, culture & heritage.
The Buddhist teaching ...& principles deeply rooted in our country. They need to be practiced more than ever. The world is charged a lot due to education, science, technology & the opportunities availed to different sections of the society. These changes are mostly materialistic. The human mind, however is satisfied by higher virtues only. That's why we need to remember Buddha.
The art & culture is the finest medium to inculcate higher values. We try our best to provide this opportunity to every section of the society through Buddha Festival.
We believe Buddha Festival shall spread the message of peace, prosperity, harmony & happiness in the society. Equipped with learning from last five years, we wish to make Buddha Festival 2016 even better & beautiful. We intend to make it so as to attract not only thousands of locals but many people from abroad.
Your participation will encourage us to make the festival better & beautiful. We look forward to you for a long standing association.
Thank you
