Here’s a summary of activities that Aryaloka sangha members will be participating in dring Buddhist Action Month.

BAM Opening Ritual Tuesday, June 2 at 7 PM during Friends Night, led by Lilasiddhi.

Living Simply in June Give something, or a number of things, up for the month, e.g., coffees in cafés, chocolate, cinema, newspapers. Work out how much you save and give it away.

Amnesty International Letter Writing Night Sunday, June 7 at 4 PM at Aryaloka.

Stupa Celebration & Fundraising Dinner

Tue, 15 Apr, 2014 - 22:24Join the regional sangha for a scrumptious fundraising dinner at Aryaloka Buddhist Center on April 18th at 6:00 p.m. The menu includes a hearty soup to warm the winter chill, lovingly-created bread, salad, and cake for dessert to add a touch of sweetness. All this in addition to joyful sangha friends to break bread with!

There will be a presentation about the Stupa Project as part of the evening, and the dinner will be followed by a special Dhardo...

The Triratna Buddhist Community at Aryaloka will gather on Friday, November 30^th for our annual celebration of the Sangha Jewel. Please join us as we express appreciation for our community and gratitude for the Arya Sangha, the Enlightened teachers from the Buddhist traditions of the past. The evening will include meditation and the devotional practice of puja.

Enter the mythic realm to explore and experience the purifying nectar of Vajrasattva – the Buddha “beyond space and time!” Vajrasattva practice is a way to purify our defilements and recognize the primordial, pure nature of the Buddha within us. The retreat will include a guided meditation, discussion, Vajrasattva puja, and chanting his mantra – perhaps 108 times!
