Triratna Order Members who are experiencing financial hardship can turn to the Abhayaratna Trust for support. We make grants and offer non-financial support too in urgent health and housing situations. We also want to build a substantial fund for the future needs of the Order, including support for those who have dedicated their working lives to teaching the Dharma and building our Sangha and have been unable to save for later in life or times of illness.    

We have a vacancy for a Fundraising Officer

You will be the driving force in building this fund, developing donor relationships and exploring creative ways to raise funds. This role offers the opportunity to engage with the Triratna Buddhist Order and Community in different ways, and to work as part of a small home based UK team.   

Previous experience of fundraising is required, such as being part of a Karuna Trust appeal. As well as experience in Triratna as an Order Member or Mitra who has asked for ordination.
