An opportunity to join India Dhamma Trust

Sat, 29 Apr, 2017 - 13:32

We have a new opportunity to support Dhamma work in India by joining the India Dhamma Trust team as a trustee treasurer. Hi Skhandare,  That is great you are interested in our work!  The best way to support the activities of the India Dhamma Trust is to follow what we are doing and to donate.  Are you involved in a Triratna Centre?  If so, you could become an ‘advocate’ - helping publicise our work and raise funds for the continuing of Dhamma work in India.  There is a retreat at Adhisthana in November about Dr Ambedkar.  If you live in the UK you could come to that.  Thank you for your question.

No, I do not live in uk. And I’m not in the Triratna center. But I want to work in the India Dhamma Trust.

I’m afraid we are a UK based charity raising funds for India, and we need a UK based trustee.  In India the best way you can support our work is by going to your local Triratna Centre and talking to the Order Members there about how you can help.

In part two of Suvajra’s first talk in a series about Sangharakshita’s eight special contributions to Triratna, he talks about the Twenty-four Nidana Chain and Higher Evolution.

These, he says, are unique to Bhante’s approach.

Suvajra also draws on the Buddha’s teaching and makes the link with Babasaheb’s approach to transcendence from suffering through faith and so on.
