On Tuesday 31st May we shall start our involvement in BAM! at the Reading Sangha.

Each week we shall focus on one particular way in which we can make a difference in the world using the broad themes of:

Sustainability - the effects of our way of life upon the world.

Compassion for others - how we can offer loving kindness and compassion to those people near and far.

Giving - what we can do to offer money, time, skills or effort to bring about positive change in the world.

We shall make undertakings each week to make a change and each week we shall disucss our successes. We will also identify barriers or difficulties we each may face and how we can help each other overcome these.

Each week the Dana bowl will be offered to an appropriate cause.

Good to hear, Reading! I like the fact that you are broadening out from environmental considerations (important though that is).
