Sunday 19 June @ North London Buddhist Centre - we came together for a day of BAM! activity. Starting the day in the shrine room with the Metta Bhavana, we followed this by listening to a talk by Vajratara from 2015 called Buddhism for the Modern World. This rich talk inspired discussion over a vegan lunch and then we got active - planting bee friendly plants and seeds in two tree pits just around the corner from the centre off the busy Holloway Road. Passers-by and local residents stopped to have a chat and were very supportive of our initiative to encourage bees and beautify this busy corner of North London. Much gratitude to all those who came along on the day, and other members of the sangha who donated tools, plants and general encouragement of the project.

What a lovely day, nice one, North London!! Nice choice on talk, too, Vajratara really hits it home…
